Reception have been so engaged today learning all about how to be safe when crossing the road. We all practised our Green Cross Code, using a pedestrian crossing and following the instructions from a lollipop person. We were all fantastic at being super safe near the road!
We are so proud of two of our pupils who were honoured at the I Love South Tyneside Awards.
The pupils were awarded books by North East Author Yvonne Carlin Page in recognition of their dedication to litter picking in our local area.
After a year of funraising in school and with the support of our wonderful parents. carers, staff, governors and the wider community we have our first ever school minibus.
We are so thrilled ! We cant wait to go on adventures with the children.

Our Community Officer PC Talbot, and Police Community Support Officer Caroline, came to visit Early Years today! They talked about lots of different ways that the police help us. We got to look at their police car, speak on the police radio and some of us even wanted to try on the police uniform!
Year 4 are loving farm school. This week the children were helping to prepare the food and feed the animals, followed by mucking out !!
Year 4 and ARB 2 children made a great start at Farm School this week! The children were introduced to all of the animals that they will be caring for over the next four weeks.
Reception and Nursery were visited this morning by Margret and Quella. Quella is from the Guide Dog Association. We found out so much about the important job Quella does to make sure that Margret is independent. We even got to stroke Quella and say hello – we loved it!
Year 1 and Year 2 smashed their winter performance delivering a perfect show for their grown ups. The audience was spellbound by their beautiful singing, acting and outstanding narration!
Wow! Early years blew everyone away with their magnificent performance of Whoops a Daisy Angel. It was hard to believe that the children were only age 3 -5 years old. the show stole the audience hearts!
