THRIVE

Welcome to THRIVE

At THRIVE, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to flourish, achieve, and feel valued. As a specialist SEND provision for pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), we support wonderful children with complex needs, including communication and language difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and sensory processing and sensory-seeking needs.

Our nurturing and inclusive environment is designed to help every child reach their full potential, celebrating their unique strengths while providing the specialist support they need to succeed. Through highly personalised learning, therapeutic approaches, and a skilled, caring team, we create opportunities for children to develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and a lifelong love of learning.

At the heart of THRIVE is our commitment to inclusion. While benefiting from specialist support tailored to their individual needs, pupils also enjoy meaningful opportunities to learn, play, and build friendships with age- and stage-appropriate peers across the wider school community. We believe that belonging, participation, and positive relationships are essential for every child’s development and wellbeing.

Our values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, and Engagement underpin everything we do. We work in close partnership with families, recognising parents and carers as experts in their child’s journey and ensuring that every child’s voice is heard and valued.

At THRIVE, our aim is simple: to provide every opportunity for children to THRIVE academically, socially, emotionally, and personally, preparing them for a happy and successful future.

Admissions

Admission to THRIVE is determined through the Local Authority SEND Panel and is available only to pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) whose needs match the specialist provision offered within the unit.

Together, we nurture potential, celebrate individuality, and create opportunities for every child to thrive.
