Our first visit to Forest School!
Mrs Gibson and Mrs Charlton challenged us to put our own suits and boots on. We tried so hard and even helped each other. We were so excited whilst we waited at the gates. We sensibly followed the instructions to climb the stile into our wilderness! We explored the areas, running, climbing and jumping. Some of the children discovered minibeasts. The children then began to roll logs to discover more! We identified; worms, slugs, beetles, ants, woodlice, earwigs, spiders and centipedes! We then learnt how to use magnifying glasses correctly to observe them. When we had finished we rolled the logs back to keep our bug friends safe. We also shared milk and snack at our base camp. What a fantastic way to end our week!
