Don’t forget to include P.E in your home learning. At the moment it is so important that we keep active – it is recommended children have at least 60 minutes of moderate exercise (such as walking) each day. There are so many health benefits that come from this! Watch the video below to hear how:

Throughout our final week of term, children in school are going to be completing the ‘Mosaic Federation Lockdown Olympics’, and you can do it from home too! Watch the slideshow below to see all the exciting activities in store!

Click on on the picture below to take you to the Youth Sport Trust website where they have a range of 60 second challenges for children to do at home which are easy and accessible.
You don’t have to just do each one once either, keep stretching yourself and see how high you can achieve!

The School Games
The ‘School Games’ have created a number of personal challenges for your children to complete to help them stay active.
PE with Joe is a great way to start each day. His exercise class is on each day 9:00 – 9:30, and will have you completing a range of different exercises to warm your muscles up and keep your heart racing. Visit The Body Coach for new workouts daily.

If you want to exercise but at a slightly slower pace the explore the Cosmic Kids Yoga page. This page has a great selection of yoga activities that will take you on an adventure whilst staying in your living room! Yoga is great for calming and focusing on our well-being and mental health. This video will take you on a Trolls adventure, but there are videos for all ages!
What’s Your Name workout
If you would prefer to do an activity that doesn’t follow a video, why not choose your own personal workout that is designed just for you! Select each letter of your name and that’s the activity you have to do. You could keep it simple by just doing your first name, challenge yourself with first name and surname OR super challenge with first, middle and surname!!

Funky Friday
Don’t forget, every Friday in school is Funky Friday and it can be at home too! It’s amazing how much of a release putting your favourite songs on and having a dance can do. Music can be very powerful and help add the rainbow to a rainy sky.
